Arsenal’s home kit officially launched on Monday morning and fans were loving the new style.
The launch video may not have had the impact the Gunners wanted as new supplier adidas accidentally posted it last week revealing what the new shirt will look like.
It features several first teams stars including Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alex Iwobi, Laurent Koscielny and Hector Bellerin.
Ian Wright also features alongside YouTube star Jeremy Lynch. Former captain Tony Adams makes a short appearance, as does actor Idris Elba.
Adidas posted the promotional video on their YouTube account on Friday, ahead of the official launch on Monday, but the post was quickly deleted.
The Gunners posted the video on their Twitter account to officially reveal the kit and even made reference to the earlier mistake by the sportswear brand.
It said: “This is Arsenal. This is adidas. This is home. Everything looks better when it’s official, right?”
Arsenal have switched kit supplier from Puma to adidas and it will be the first time in almost 25 years that the German sportswear brand have made the shirts.
The deal is believed to be worth £300million over the course of the next five seasons.
Many Arsenal fans seemed to like the look of the new kit, which looks similar to some worn by the club during the early 1990s.
