Kickoff time, television announced for Alabama vs. LSU – AL.com

Alabama will play in its fourth consecutive night game Saturday when it hosts LSU at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The SEC made the announcement Sunday after CBS chose Auburn vs. Texas A&M as its 2:30 p.m. CT game of the week. Georgia vs. Missouri, the other game with a kickoff time yet to be decided last week, will begin at 11 a.m. CT.

Alabama is a 25-point favorite over LSU, who will be making their final trip to Tuscaloosa under outgoing coach Ed Orgeron.

Alabama has not played a daytime game since Oct. 2 when it beat Ole Miss. The Tide has only played three of a possible five CBS games this season — Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Florida — with the Iron Bowl likely drawing a fourth.

A kickoff time for Alabama’s Nov. 13 game against New Mexico State is expected to be announced Monday.
