The Steelers were back on the field on Thursday at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, preparing for Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bears at Heinz Field.

Kicker Chris Boswell was limited due to a concussion he suffered against the Cleveland Browns on a fake field goal attempt.

“There’s nothing that alarms us in terms of the process he’s in, but it is a process and so we’ll let those guys do what it is they do,” said Coach Mike Tomlin of Boswell. “If he is cleared and ready to go, he’ll be our kicker on Monday night.”

The Steelers signed kicker Josh Lambo to the practice squad earlier this week as a safety valve. Lambo has kicked for the Los Angeles Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars during his seven-year career.

Tight end Eric Ebron didn’t practice on Thursday. Ebron suffered a hamstring injury prior to the Browns game, missing the Week 7 matchup.

Defensive tackle Cameron Heyward (ankle) and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (hip/pectoral) were also both limited. In addition, offensive lineman B.J. Finney was limited with a back injury.
