Errol Spence is reportedly in a ‘serious condition’ after being involved in a high-speed car crash in his hometown of Dallas.
The police have said a Ferrari flipped multiple times, ejecting the driver (reported to be Spence) who was not wearing a seatbelt, according to CBS.
They added that driver was taken to hospital and is expected to survive the crash, which took place in the northbound lanes in the 500 block of S. Riverfront Boulevard.
On September 28, Spence defeated Shawn Porter in a WBC & IBF welterweight title unification.
It was the biggest moment of the 29-year-old’s career to date.
