The Bears should be feeling better about their pass rush through the first couple of weeks of practice, especially the rotational pieces in Jeremiah Attaochu and Trevis Gipson, who continue to make strong impressions.
With the uncertainty surrounding the availability of Robert Quinn, Attaochu and Gipson are likely to see plenty of snaps for Chicago during the regular season. With Quinn nursing a back injury, Attaochu and Gipson have been rotating at starting edge rusher opposite Khalil Mack and, from the sound of it, doing a solid job, which was once again the case on Saturday.
Attaochu has been finding himself in the backfield often, including a tackle-for-loss on running back Artavis Pierce. While there are a ton of offensive linemen out with injuries, Attaochu is doing a good job of getting after the quarterback.
The same could be said for Gipson, who bulked up this offseason and has already been making strides in his second season with his explosiveness and agility. Gipson beat offensive tackle Tyrone Wheatley Jr. for what would’ve been a sack of Fields.
Jeremiah Attaochu is continuously getting in the backfield and getting constant pressure on the QB.
He was brought in to be a solid rotational pass rusher, and from what I’ve seen from camp, he’ll be exactly that for the #Bears.

Trevis Gipson with an inside move on Tyrone Wheatley Jr. Justin Fields completed the pass to Javon Wims, but the play most likely would’ve resulted in another sack.
