Liverpool are set to have their title charge bolstered by the return of goalkeeper Alisson Becker for the clash with Manchester United on Sunday.
The Brazilian has been sidelined since the opening day of the Premier League season with a calf injury, which forced him to limp off during the Reds’ 4-1 defeat of Norwich.
Summer signing Adrian has deputised impressively in his absence and has helped Liverpool go top of the league.
But Alisson is now back fit for the trip to Old Trafford, having worked at Melwood during the international break.
The Brazilian was named Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year at the Best FIFA Football awards last month after helping Liverpool win the Champions League and Brazil to Copa America glory – and his return will come as a huge boost to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
Mohamed Salah is also set to be back in the Liverpool starting XI for the United clash.

The Egyptian suffered an ankle injury in the 2-1 win over Leicester before the international break, but scans revealed there was no significant damage.
Opponents United, meanwhile, are hopeful of having Anthony Martial, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw available this weekend as they look to halt their woeful run of form.
