Vinales tops Free Practice 3 for the Andalucia MotoGP with a new lap record, as reigning champion Marquez returns to action just four days after surgery to plate a broken right arm.
The Repsol Honda rider reached a peak of 16th, before being pushed back to 19th on the ultra-close timesheets, meaning he will need to ride in Qualifying 1 alongside the likes of Morbidelli and Dovizioso.
Fellow injured riders Crutchlow and Rins had made their comebacks from injury on Friday. Crutchlow (wrist fracture) rode again this morning, but Rins (dislocated shoulder) sat out the session.
The top ten riders after FP3 (combined times) receive direct access to the second and final part of qualifying.
