Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois have reportedly both agreed terms to meet on April 18 at the O2 Arena in London.
The undefeated rising British heavyweights have been on a collision course for the past year and promoter Frank Warren has decided that now is the time to match them together.
22-year-old Dubois has taken the division by storm in his first couple of years as a professional, racking up a record of 14-0 (13 KOs).
Meanwhile, 34-year-old Joyce won Olympic silver as an amateur and himself has started to notch impressive wins on the pro circuit with a record of 10-0 (9 KOs).
According to Mike Coppinger, the pair have now agreed to face off on April 18 at the O2 Arena in London.
It’s claimed the fight will be on pay-per-view in the UK and broadcast to Americans through the ESPN+ app.
Last year, Dubois fought five times with five knockouts – the most impressive being against Nathan Gorman to claim the British title.
Joyce had three fights in 2019, stopping Bermane Stiverne and Alexander Ustinov before outpointing solid contender Bryant Jennings.
