The man killed at Mohamed Elneny’s home in Egypt is believed to have been electrocuted while trying to steal cables, according to police.
The Arsenal midfielder’s dad, Nasser, discovered the body and called the police, according to reports in Italy.
The house, close to the city of Mahalla Al-Kubra, is currently under construction and the identity of the man is still not known.
The BBC report the police have said the man was attempting to steal electrical cables.
It is believed he was then electrocuted during the theft.
News website 24.ae claimed that the body was found ‘in a patio’ of the home.
The Egypt international joined Arsenal in January 2016 for a fee of around £5million.
Since then he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter in the first-team.

He has made just 46 Premier League appearances in the three and a half seasons he has been with the club.
There had been suggestions he would leave the Gunners this summer and was reportedly one of the three players being offered to Crystal Palace as part of the Wilfried Zaha deal.
