BEREA, Ohio — The Browns returned to the practice field for the first time since their preseason opener in Jacksonville over the weekend. It was a lighter day with joint practices against the Giants looming on Thursday and Friday.
Scott Patsko, Ellis Williams and Dan Labbe got together after practice to discuss what they saw. Most importantly, two of their safeties returned, at least in a limited capacity, in Ronnie Harrison and Grant Delpit. They discussed the play of those two. Then they got into the pace of practice as the Browns play it safe with more competitive practices on the horizon.
