Manchester United take the slight advantage in their round of 32 Europa League tie with Club Brugge as they drew 1-1 in Belgium.
Emmanuel Dennis put the home side ahead before Anthony Martial grabbed an important away goal to take back to Old Trafford.
Brugge caught the United defence napping with a long ball over the top which saw Emmanuel Dennis lob Sergio Romero after 15 minutes.
Mignolet hit a long goal kick which caught out the United backline and Dennis was first to the ball before lobbing the advancing goalkeeper.
United were level 10 minutes before the break when Anthony Martial stole the ball at a home throw.
The forward then beat the last defender before slotting home to draw United level at 1-1.
Former Liverpool keeper Mignolet prevented Martial adding to United’s tally as he finger-tipped a low shot on to the post just before the break as the first half ended 1-1.
Odion Ighalo was introduced midway through the second half for his Europa League debut for United to try and provide them with a spark.
Bruges squandered a golden opportunity in the 77th minute when Kossounou scuffed his shot on goal wide of the post.
Bruno Fernandes’ introduction immediately improved the United side and created a barrage of chances in the final 10 minutes but failed to find the winner.
Celtic also took home a vital away goal as they drew 1-1 at FC Copenhagen.
Neil Lennon’s side went ahead with 14 minutes on the clock through Odsonne Edouard, the striker dinking the ball over the keeper to open the scoring.
Copenhagen were back in the tie seven minutes into the second half as Dame N’Doye stuck to make it 1-1.
The hosts then had a penalty late on to go ahead but Fraser Forster saved to earn his side a draw.
