The striker’s sibling, who is also his representative, took to Twitter to confirm the 31-year-old will ‘respect’ his contract at the Turin giants
Gonzalo Higuain’s brother and agent has rubbished reports that the striker will move to Roma, insisting he will ‘respect’ his contract at Juventus.
Higuain, 31, spent the second half of the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Chelsea.
The Premier League outfit had an option to make the deal permanent, but opted not to do so.
Earlier in the season Higuain endured another difficult loan spell at AC Milan, but brother Nicola is adamant the experienced frontman will not walk away from the Turin giants.
He tweeted on Sunday: “The only Italian club Higuain will play for is Juventus.
“He has two years left on his contract and it will be respected. Good Sunday to everyone.”
Higuain will be greeted by a familiar face in Maurizio Sarri back at the Allianz Stadium.
The Italian left Stamford Bridge last month to return to Italy and become Juve’s new boss following Massimiliano Allegri’s departure.
It will be the third time the pair have worked together, having already done so at Napoli and Chelsea.
