It is becoming increasingly apparent that Jadon Sancho will leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
The teenage sensation has had another phenomenal campaign in the Bundesliga, totting up 12 goals and 13 assists so far, and it is only a matter of time before he seals a big-money move to another club.
The question is, where will he go?
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to land the England star, but it is unlikely he moves to Old Trafford unless Champions League qualification is secured.
Sancho has also been linked with a move to Chelsea – and the fact he is a lifelong Blues fan and boyhood friends with Callum Hudson-Odoi could bode well for Frank Lampard, who is an admirer of the winger.
However, Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been linked with a move and Sancho may favour a switch to to one of the LaLiga giants, which could perhaps be less of a risk then returning to the Premier League.
There’s no doubting he would improve most sides in the world right now, but how could Sancho fit in at those clubs?
Find out below…
Manchester United
Sancho would slot in nicely at Manchester United, completing an explosive front three with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.
The three of them would cause trouble for any opposition defence with their directness and pace.
Furthermore, each of them has the ability to play out wide or through the middle, so Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be able to use them interchangeably depending on who they are facing.
Sancho would slot in over Daniel James in the line up on the right, with Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba providing him with the creativity he needs from the middle of the park.
Chelsea
It looks as though Willian and Pedro’s spells at Stamford Bridge are coming to an end – enter Sancho.
The teenager would be the perfect long-term replacement on the right side of the front three.
Willian is 31 and his form will dip sooner rather than later, while Callum Hudson-Odoi is also waiting in the wings for his chance to cement a starting spot.
Christian Pulisic has also shown glimpses of his quality this season and a fresh faced front three of him, Tammy Abraham and Sancho, with Hudson-Odoi as back up, will surely sort Chelsea’s attack out for years to come.
Real Madrid
Zinedine Zidane would have the tricky situation of having three brilliant young wingers at his disposal if Sancho arrived, but it’s not a bad problem to have.
Brazilian wingers Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior are already at the club with the former having a superb start to his Real career, scoring a Champions League hat-trick to announce himself as the real deal in Europe’s top competition, while the latter is a little more raw.
Sancho is only getting better and would obviously slot in the starting XI, but Rodrygo may well be on his heels if he continues his stellar start to life at the Bernabeu.
The youngster would relish the opportunity to play alongside Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema in a front three which would surely bring back the best of the the 13-time European champions.
Barcelona
Real went hell for leather in the transfer market last summer, while Barcelona only signed Antoine Griezmann and Frenkie de Jong – and they have paid the price of that.
Yes, Griezmann and De Jong were both expensive acquisitions, but Real’s strength in depth this season is the reason they are leading the pack – and Camp Nou chiefs will know they will need to act this summer.
Sancho has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants and he would make up a scary front three with Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Ansu Fati, who is also one of the most exciting young talents on the globe.
