The football world is in mourning after the passing of Leyton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh. He was 49.
Edinburgh, who played as a left-back for Tottenham, was rushed to hospital earlier this week after falling ill.
He never recovered and Edinburgh’s death was confirmed by Orient on Saturday.
A statement from the club read: “It is with profound and utmost sadness that Leyton Orient announces its manager Justin Edinburgh has passed away.
“Justin suffered a cardiac arrest last Monday and passed away on Saturday.”
It’s not just Orient who have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Edinburgh with a number of his ex-team-mates including Gary Lineker expressing their condolences.
