The Frenchman promises never to change his approach to life and football despite criticism when things go wrong at Old Trafford
Paul Pogba believes his flamboyant personality makes him a scapegoat when Manchester United aren’t winning.
Speaking to The Times for a brand new podcast series, the World Cup winner has defended his record and promised to continue expressing himself in the same way, regardless of whether people ‘hate’ him for it.

Pogba was United’s top goalscorer and leading creator this season, with 13 Premier League goals and nine assists – and he even made the PFA Team of the Year.
However, criticism continues to follow the Frenchman after disappointing patches of from – and he claims it has become his ‘every day’.
Nonetheless, the 26-year-old insists he will stay true to himself and remain unaltered in the face of his critics.
“I always play like that,” Pogba told The Times’ Matt Dickinson. “My body language is always like that.”
“I won trophies like that, I won the World Cup like that. Body language, haircut, all these things are just to speak.
“Since I was a kid, I always play like this and it’s not a problem. It’s never a problem when we win. It’s always a problem when we don’t win, or we lose, or I have a bad performance.
“Form will change. Sometimes you’re better than the other day. We try to be consistent and always be at the top. But I’ve never seen a player who is always at the very top. Sometimes you drop.
“It’s my every day. It just becomes normal to me. It doesn’t change me – I’m still the Paul that I used to be as a kid and I just grow.
“I’ve become taller! But I’m the same person just following his dream.
“People that know me will say the same, I’m just myself and I don’t want to change.
“People like me like that, people hate me like that, but I’m going to finish like I am.”

Pogba claims some of the criticism directed his way is ludicrous, referring to the stick he received for dying his hair blue before a Manchester derby in 2018.
The Frenchman delivered a man of the match performance, bagging a brace as United completed a thrilling comeback victory over their neighbours.
He added: “The blue one was for the national team and then I played against City the week after.
“I want to know what people think. When I had this hair and I was playing against City, I wanted City to win?
“But guess what, I scored two goals and I was really happy that City didn’t win against us.
“People will learn, they have their own judgement and we have to accept this.”
