Real Madrid finally captured long-term target Eden Hazard from Chelsea last week.
The Belgian joins the LaLiga giants on a five-year contract in a deal that could see the Blues receive up to £130million.
Hazard, 28, has been officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player at the club’s home ground, the Bernabeu.
He will be given the No.7 jersey, taking it off Mariano Diaz, who re-joined the club in August 2017.
And with that, Hazard joins an illustrious list of club legends to have sported the iconic jersey at Real Madrid.
But who’s the club’s best ever No.7? Below you can see the top five players to have donned the shirt, according to talkSPORT.com.
5. Juanito (1980-86)
Spanish forward Juanito played for Los Blancos for a decade and was given the No.7 jersey for six of them.
He was known for his brilliant dribbling ability but also had a bit of a fiery temper which saw him once receive a two-year suspension from European competitions for assaulting a referee during a European Cup match.
However, there were many good moments for Juanito who played a huge role in some of their greatest ever comebacks including when they overturned a 2-0 deficit against Celtic in the European Cup in the 1979/80 season.
Juanito won ten major honours at the Bernabeu including five LaLiga titles.

4 – Emilio Butragueno (1986-95)
At four is Juanito’s successor to the jersey, Emilio Butragueno who wore No.7 on his back for nine years.
Butragueno, who played as a striker for Real Madrid, was part of the club’s transformation to regular title challengers throughout the 1980s and into the 90s.
He won 16 trophies at Real Madrid, the only club he ever played for including six LaLiga titles.
3 – Raymond Kopa (1956-59)
Frenchman Kopa may not have won as many trophies as Juanito or Butragueno, nor did he wear No.7 for as long as they did but his contribution to the club was valuable.
He won the European Cup three times at Real Madrid in the late 50s when they dominated the competition at its inception. They won the first five European Cups.
But when you consider the attacking midfielder was only at the club for three years (56-59), that’s pretty good going.
2 – Raul (1995-2010)
Born and bred in Madrid, Raul is the ultimate success story for the club – but don’t mention how he supported their bitter rivals Atletico Madrid as a child!
Nevertheless, Real Madrid fans are eternally indebted to the former striker, who netted a whopping 325 goals for the club across a 16-year spell at the club. He wore the No.7 for 15 of them.
Raul won 16 trophies with the LaLiga giants including the Champions League on three occasions, scoring in two of the finals.
1 – Cristiano Ronaldo (2010-18)
Out in front is Cristiano Ronaldo of course. He’s Real Madrid’s greatest ever player so he is obviously their greatest number seven.
The icon initially wore the No.9 jersey until Raul left the club in 2010 and Ronaldo really made the shirt his own, scoring an incredible 450 goals in half the time it took Raul to score 325.
There are too many accolades to mention but Ronaldo’s most eye-catching haul of trophies at the Bernabeu include four Champions League titles.
