Arsenal fans may be forgiven as though they are in a real state of flux at this very moment in time.
After 22 years of Arsene Wenger at the helm, the Frenchman finally departed last summer and made way for Unai Emery.
Charming and with a proven winning pedigree, Gunners fans started to believe all the anti-Wenger protests and chants had finally paid off.
After an incredible 22-game unbeaten run, Arsenal were comfortably sitting in the Champions League places.
But the wheels slowly but surely began to come off and, despite reaching the Europa League final, Emery could not achieve Champions League qualification.
Financially, this has hit the Gunners hard and may have even affected the Spaniard’s transfer budget or the upcoming season – reports suggesting the former Sevilla boss has just £45million to spend.
And while the club are having a decent pre-season it’s not done much for their title hopes.
More than one million people want to storm Area 51 in Nevada and those people apparently have 10 times more chance of actually finding an alien than Arsenal do winning the Premier League.
According to PaddyPower, the odds of finding an alien are just 5/1 as opposed to 50/1 to see Mesut Ozil and co. win the league.
Around 1.2 million people have clicked ‘Attending’ on a Facebook group called ‘Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us‘ and it seems one bookmaker believes there is more chance of spotting extra-terrestrial activity than Arsenal ending their 15-year wait to lift the Premier League trophy.
Last season, the north Londoners finished in fifth position, some 28 points off winners Manchester City. But here at talkSPORT.com, we weren’t necessarily desperate to pack our bags and head to Nevada in the hope of finding alien life,.
However, we have done some extensive research to find five equally unlikely and bizarre things more likely than Arsenal winning the Premier League. Scroll down to see six of the best.
