The UCLA men’s basketball game against Alabama State will not be played as schedule, according to a UCLA spokesperson.

The Bruins were set to tip off on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 8p.m. PT but have opted not to play due to COVID-19 protocols.

This comes hours after it was announced that head coach Mick Cronin would not coach the game due to COVID-19 protocols and assistant coach Darren Savino would serve as acting coach.

As of now, it is not certain if it will be cancelled or postponed.

This could also put UCLA’s game against North Carolina in the CBS Sports Classic this Saturday in Las Vegas in jeopardy.
