A sign outside Manchester United’s training ground has been targeted by vandals who have sprayed the words ‘Pogba out’ over it.

The sign which reads: “Players are not permitted to stop and sign autographs due to danger on the road. No congregating” is at the entrance to their Carrington HQ and was recently put up to stop large crowds gathering.

It comes days after Pogba was racially abused online following a missed penalty against Wolves in United’s second game of the season, though the Old Trafford faithful backed the player with an anti-racism banner displayed during the defeat to Crystal Palace.

After the game he met heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder and posted his own positive message.

Pogba has played in all three matches for United this season and was particularly impressive in the opening day 4-0 win over Chelsea, registering two assists.

However, speculation over Pogba’s future at Old Trafford remains and he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid throughout the summer.

On Tuesday, his brother Mathias said Pogba would be great for Real Madrid.

“Manchester need to want to sell and Madrid need to want to buy. That’s how business works,” he said.

“Everyone knows my brother would be great for Real Madrid and [Zinedine] Zidane. It’s Real Madrid and Manchester United who need to talk.”

Mathias added: “No doubt before our careers are over we’ll get together in the same country. Hopefully it’ll be Spain.

“It might be this season, but it doesn’t depend just on us. If Flo and Paul get the chance, they’ll come. If not, they’ve got contracts with their clubs.”
