Fans in the UK are set to watch the first ever Major League game in Europe
West Ham United’s deal to play at the London Stadium means they must face seeing other sports being played at their ground.
This time it’s Major League Baseball coming to town and altering the pitch and seating arrangements in east London.
Work on the makeover started when MLB took over the stadium on June 6 and is expected to be completed on June 27, according to Construction Manager Magazine.
The games take place on June 29 and June 30 and see the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees take each other on. It will be the first time in their 2,200-match history they have played on synthetic turf.

It’s reported a team of 110 workers, some drafted in from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Netherlands, have been working on the site.
They have installed 141,900 square foot of artificial turf, from France, erected 18 metre foul polls to protect fans, along with 400 metres of fencing.
Clay and dirt for the baseball field have also been imported from the US as the takeover continues.
But don’t worry too much, West Ham fans… it should take just five days to return to normal.
