The January transfer window is nearing its conclusion and many more big deals could go through before the market shuts.

Tottenham have been the busiest out of the ‘big six’, making three signings this window as Jose Mourinho pushes for a top four spot in the second half of the campaign.

However, Manchester United are on the verge of completing a deal for Portugal playmaker Bruno Fernandes, who has a phenomenal goals and assists record in the Primeira Liga.

Elsewhere, it’s been pretty quiet in the market.

Man City and Chelsea are yet to make a signing but the latter are considering a move for Napoli striker Dries Mertens.

While Arsenal have signed Flamengo defender Pablo Mari on loan for the rest of the season.

9= Dani Olmo (Dinamo Zagreb – RB Leipzig) – £17m

The attacking midfielder signed for RB Leipzig from Dinamo Zagreb last week.

Olmo, who has been tracked by a number of Premier League clubs in the past, has eight goals and seven assists this season, with two of his strikes coming in the Champions League.

9= Yousef En-Nesyri (Sevilla – Leganes) – £17m

The marksman has signed a five-year deal with the Los Rojiblancos and looks set to be their major signing of the January transfer window.

The Morocco international, who has nine goals for his nation, has made 87 appearances across his stints for Malaga and Leganes.

9= Raul de Tomas (Benfica – Espanyol) – £17m

The LaLiga side broke their transfer record to sign the striker on a six-year contract.

De Tomas, who already has two goals in two games for Espanyol, came through at Real Madrid’s academy, where he was converted from a midfielder to a striker

9= Julien Weigl (Borussia Dortmund- Benfica) – £17m

The Germany international had been tracked by Manchester City in the summer but has now made the move to the Portuguese top flight.

The 24-year-old had been a regular fixture in Dortmund’s midfield since his move from 1860 Munich in 2015.

9= Daniel Podence (Olympiakos – Wolves) – £17m

After impressing in Greece the Portuguese midfielder has earned a Premier League move.

In the last two campaigns he has scored against English teams in Europe. Netting agains Burnley in the Europa League last term and scoring against Tottenham in the Champions League this season.

8. Duvan Zapata (Sampdoria – Atalanta) – £17.9m

Having played on loan last season and mustered 28 goals in 48 games it was a no-brainer the club from Bergamo would snap him up permanently.

Just back from an injury, he’s already netted a goal as his new spell with the club starts.

7. Erling Haaland (Red Bull Salzburg – Borussia Dortmund) – £19.2m

The Bundesliga giants snapped up the Norwegian sensation for a cut-price fee ahead Manchester United, who were strongly linked with a move for the striker.

It’s fair to say he has hit the ground running for Die Borussen, netting a staggering five goals in his first 60 minutes of action.

6. Lucas Tousart (Lyon – Hertha Berlin) – £20.3m

The Frenchman joined the Bundesliga side but has immediately returned to his former club on loan for the rest of the season.

The central midfielder has been a regular fixture in the Lyon first-team squad for the past four seasons, making over 100 appearances in all competitions.

5. Stanislav Lobotka (Celta Vigo – Napoli) – £21.5m

The midfielder joined Celta in 2017 from Danish side Nordsjaelland and quickly established himself as a key member of the team.

He becomes the latest Slovakian player to represent Napoli after Marek Hamsik, who became an icon for the club after 13 years in Serie A.

4. Steven Bergwijn (PSV – Spurs) – £25m

Jose Mourinho has snapped up the Netherlands international after he dazzled in the Eredivise.

Bergwijn, who had netted five goals in 16 appearances this season for PSV, broke through the ranks and made his first-team debut at 17.

3. Reinier (Flamengo – Real Madrid) – £25.6m

Real chiefs snapped up the teenager following his superb breakthrough season in the Brazilian Serie A.

The starlet, who has signed a six-year deal at the Bernabeu, only made his senior debut for Flamengo on July 31 last year but played a key role in the side that won the league and the Copa Libertadores last season.

1= Giovani Lo Celso (Real Betis – Tottenham) – £30m

After injuries hampered his start to life in north London, the Argentine has proved his worth in recent games with some star performances.

Fans are delighted with the press-resistant midfielder, who has a knack for creating clear chances, and so is Jose Mourinho.

As such Spurs trigger the option to buy Lo Celso permanently in the January transfer window.

1= Dejan Kulusevski  (Parma-Juventus) – £30m

The Swede joined Juve from Atalanta, having been on loan from Parma throughout the campaign and impressing with four goals in 17 appearances.

The 19-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half year contract with the Serie A side but has returned to Parma until the end of the season as he continues his development.
