Tyson Fury has been making fresh FaceTime calls to Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn in recent weeks, according to Hearn.
The WBC heavyweight champion previously admitted to ringing up his rivals for the occasional chat after AJ told media that the ‘Gypsy King’ had called him to say he’s going to knock him out.
Hearn told iFL TV on Monday: “I had a couple of FaceTime missed calls from Tyson the other day, so did AJ.
“I was out in the garden, came back and I had two video calls from Fury. So I phoned him back three times, text him saying, ‘Sorry mate, missed your call, but I’m around.’
“Then I spoke to AJ and said, ‘I had a missed called from Fury.’
“He went, ‘You know what? So did I.’
“I don’t know what he was up to, I think he was just on the wind-up.
“But I just believe AJ beats Tyson Fury and I believe he knocks him out.
“Am I going to believe that? Of course I am, you know what side I’m riding with.
“I think it’s a wonderful fight and I’m very, very, very confident you will see one, probably two, of those in 2021.
“We’re working hard to deliver that.”
The pair have spoken on FaceTime before, as captured by ITV’s documentary last year. In the clip, Joshua asked Fury: “When are we fighting?”
Fury laughed and replied: “When are we fighting? Behave yourself.”
AJ persisted: “It sounds like 2021.”
Before Fury concluded: “I only called you up to say hello.”
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua FaceTime conversation
When he spoke about their conversations initially last September, Joshua told Behind The Gloves: “Tyson will call me randomly on the phone and he have a little laugh and I will have a little laugh.
“Then I will say, ‘I’m going to knock you out.’ Then he will say, ‘Shut up, I’ll knock you out.”
“That’s just me and Tyson, through and through the respect’s there but we’re fighting men.”
