England are one win away from winning their second Rugby World Cup after beating reigning champions New Zealand 19-7 in the semis of the 2019 finals in Yokohama.
It was a perfect display by Eddie Jones’ men against the All Blacks, whose last defeat at a World Cup came in 2007.
The Roses got off to a dream start with a try from Manu Tuilagi inside two minutes.
They continued to restrict the 1987, 2011 and 2015 champions’ play and could have even won by more but tries from Sam Underhill and Ben Youngs were disallowed.
New Zealand appeared to be on the comeback when Ardie Savea went over but England’s superb defence and four penalties from George Ford made it a relatively comfortable win in the end.
They will face either Wales or South Africa in the final next Saturday.
