When big-money moves come about hefty expectations are placed on the players involved in the respective deals – and rightly so.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was no different to that when he sealed a £50million transfer to Manchester United from Crystal Palace back in July.
And the full-back has made a solid start to life at Old Trafford, already setting one new Premier League record for the 2019/20 campaign.
The 21-year-old’s new haul for the number of successful tackles won in the top flight so far this campaign came during the Red Devils’ trip to Carrow Road to face Norwich on Sunday.
Wan-Bissaka won a mammoth 11 tackles during the contest, which finished 3-1 in United’s favour.
That accounts to quarter of the 44 tackles he has made so far this season, with the England Under-21 international currently sitting third in the overall rankings across the Premier League.

Leicester City duo Ricardo Pereira (47) and Wilfred Ndidi (45) are ahead of Wan-Bissaka in the pecking, although both have made more appearances (10 and nine respectively, in comparison to his eight).
It’s also the second time the defender has made 10 or more tackles in a Premier League encounter this season, having also reached double figures (10) against Southampton in August.
Wan-Bissaka is the first United player to do that since May 2012, when Patrice Evra featured against Swansea.
