Arsenal fans are facing travel chaos ahead of their Carabao Cup trip to Liverpool on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners take on the Premier League pace-setters in the fourth round of the competition at Anfield.
The north London club sold out their away allocation but now it looks like the visiting section may not be full.
It is believed there is a technical issue with trains leaving London Euston for the route to Liverpool Lime Street.
A statement on the national rail website read: “Major disruption between Rugby and Northampton / Milton Keynes Central expected until the end of the day.
“A broken down train between Rugby and Wolverton and a power failure resulting in signalling problems in the Northampton area are causing major disruption to trains between Rugby and Milton Keynes Central.
“Trains may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or cancelled. Trains are now once again able to run between Rugby and Milton Keynes Central via the main lines, but the route via Northampton is still blocked.
“Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.”
You can listen to live coverage of Liverpool vs Arsenal, which kicks off at 7.30pm, on talkSPORT 2.
