The January transfer window is now OPEN and that means players who are out of contract in the summer are free to talk with any foreign club about a potential move.
There is some top class talents from a host of clubs that are unsettled and ready to move on, as well as some golden oldies who look set to leave as they reach the tail-end of their career.
Now that the market is open for business, many clubs will be looking to snap up these talented stars for a cut-price fee.
In the past we have seen big names move to and from the Premier League as their contracts wind down.
Last season, Aaron Ramsey was deemed surplus to requirements by Arsenal and he went onto move to Italian champions Juventus, where he has starred this season.
But which high profile players are out of contract this summer and where could they go? Find out below…

Willian (Chelsea)
The mercurial Brazilian is having one of his finest seasons in a Chelsea shirt but is yet to sign a new deal for the Blues.
Willian may be looking to move on, despite recently admitting he could stay at Chelsea ‘until he is 40’, as Barcelona are once again said to be interested in the tricky winger.
The LaLiga giants are long-term admirers of former Shakhtar Donetsk forward and have previously been rebuffed in their offers for the 31-year-old.
If interest from the Catalan club fails to materialise there will surely be other offers for the wide man, who has four goals and four assists this season.
Olivier Giroud (Chelsea)
Another Blues star who is surely on his way out of the club is World Cup winner Giroud.
The France striker’s minutes for the west London club have been limited due to the form of Tammy Abraham, who has dazzled in Frank Lampard’s fresh-faced side.
Giroud has played just 192 minutes of Premier League action this season – and if he does not move on this month he will surely be on his way in the summer.
Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer the former Arsenal striker to Lyon in a swap deal to sign Moussa Dembele, who has impressed with ten goals in 18 appearances for the Ligue 1 side this term.
Jan Vertonghen (Tottenham)
Jose Mourinho has already been successful in convincing Toby Alderweireld to sign a new deal at Spurs, but he still has work to do in persuading his Belgian counterpart Vertonghen to follow suit.
The 32-year-old has been a brilliant servant for the Lilywhites since his move from Ajax in 2012, making 222 Premier League appearances for the north London side.
However, he is still stalling on signing a new deal and according to The Telegraph, Napoli and Ajax are reportedly set to make a move for the ball-player this month as Daniel Levy looks to cash in on his defender before it is too late.
Christian Eriksen (Tottenham)
The future of the playmaker has been the subject of intense transfer speculation for some time, with the Dane admitting last summer he was ready for a new challenge.
He has continued to stall on a new deal and Daniel Levy is seemingly resigned to losing him in the summer – the question is, where will he go?
Manchester United have been strongly linked with the 27-year-old in recent years and they are in need of a new attacking midfielder with the future of Paul Pogba still uncertain.
However, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have all reportedly expressed interest in his services.
Adam Lallana (Liverpool)
Following the arrival of Japanese playmaker Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg, it is now a formality that Lallana leaves Liverpool either in January or the summer.
The Englishman’s progress at Anfield has been largely hampered by injury, but on his day he can be a big handful for opposition defences, so he will not be short of any takers.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to cash in on the former Southampton man rather than allow him to leave for free in the summer.
Ashley Young (Manchester United)
The veteran defender has been a great servant to the Red Devils, making 192 league appearances for the club since his move from Aston Villa in 2011.
However, Young is set to be shown the door after the club made it clear he was not going to be given a new contract.
As of yet there are is not a lot of interest in the 34-year-old, who could call quits on a very decorated career in football.
David Silva (Manchester City)
The Spaniard is widely regarded as one of Man City’s very best signings following his move from Valencia in 2010 but it is clear this season will be his last in the Premier League.
A move to the MLS has been mooted but it is believed Silva would prefer a switch back to his native Spain.
The World Cup winner is still a world class talent despite being 33 years old, and he could surely do a job for any potential suitor.
Fernandinho (Manchester City)
The imperious Brazilian midfielder-turned-defender has been one of the best players to grace the Premier League for the best part of the last decade and at 34 his form isn’t showing signs of slowing.
However, he is out of contract in the summer and his long-term replacement Rodri looks to have cemented his spot as the anchor in Man City’s midfield.
Fernandinho could return to his homeland to see out his career or even call time on his glittering career, but there is no doubting he would still walk into most teams in the Premier League.
Ryan Fraser (Bournemouth)
The Cherries are on an awful run of form and the fact that they cannot tie down their star winger Fraser to a new deal at the Vitality Stadium will only be making matters worse.
Although Fraser has been unable to replicate the superb form he showed in the last campaign, where he scored seven goals and added 14 assists, his talent is clear for all to see and many top clubs would snap him up in a heartbeat
Liverpool were linked with a move for the Scot but the Reds will surely have to fend off other interest for the winger having signed Minamino.
Dries Mertens (Napoli)
The Belgium forward has a phenomenal record in Naples since his move from PSV in 2013, netting 88 goals in 219 appearances.
However, he has yet to agree a new deal with the Italian club and unsurprisingly some top sides from across Europe are looking to sign him for a cut-price fee.
Atletico Madrid are frontrunners for his signature and are according to The Mail, they are weighing up an £8m offer this month.
Jose Callejon (Napoli)
Another Napoli star who looks set to leave the club is Callejon, who has played 325 games for the Italian side, scoring 79 times in the process.
Callejon has not signed a new deal either and he is set to be offloaded in the summer, with new boss Gennaro Gattuso keen on signing his Belgian teammate Yannick Carrasco from Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang as his replacement.
Thomas Meunier (PSG)
The Belgian defender’s deal with reigning French champions Paris Saint-Germain is due to expire at the end of the current season and no renewal looks to be forthcoming.
Meunier’s representatives are on the hunt for new clubs on his behalf and are entertaining offers for the 28-year-old.
Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with Belgium international, who is capable of playing at right-back or right wing-back.
