Ally McCoist has been a regular on talkSPORT for years, but it seems he still doesn’t quite grab the concept of radio.
The Rangers and Scotland legend had himself, Laura Woods and Alan Brazil all in stitches on the Sports Breakfast with the lamest of all dad jokes – even for him.
But, the thing is, it had to be seen to be understood.
Ally thought he’d got his co-hosts hook, line, and sinker with his bad fish gag on Thursday morning, only to realise they were the only ones laughing along to his visual punchline.
And so listeners were left absolutely baffled when they suddenly heard Ally wheezing away for no apparent reason.
By the way, has anyone laughed at his own jokes more than Ally? Probably not, but we love it.

Fortunately, the Sports Breakfast team filmed the whole thing and, sorry Ally, but the presenters’ reactions are definitely better than the gag itself.
