Jumpy West Ham midfielder Declan Rice was given another major fright, with Jack Wilshere acting as prankster on this occasion.
Rice was caught out by England teammate Mason Mount in the summer when they were on holiday together and Wilshere had his own idea as Rice celebrated his 21st birthday.
A video posted on Wilshere’s Instagram account shows the West Ham midfielder step into a tumble dryer at the Hammers’ training ground and lie in wait for his unsuspecting club mate.
Rice was summoned to the room by a member of staff a few seconds later.
And it was at that moment Wilshere pushed the door open to scare Rice, who let out a hilarious yelp.
Wilshere then stepped out of the machine looking very pleased with his efforts.
The prank was no doubt inspired by a similar video about Rice, who was made to jump by Chelsea midfielder Mount.
They were on holiday in Dubai when Rice decided to take a nap. Big mistake.
Mount began to film his him and as he got close to his friend, Mount shouted, forcing Rice to scream out in fright.
Rice is one of the most promising young players in English football as he continues to build his experience with West Ham.
The Hammers have gone through a slight revival since David Moyes took charge, although they suffered a defeat at Sheffield United in their last match.
They thought they earned a point thanks to a late Robert Snodgrass goal but it was disallowed as VAR spotted a handball by Rice in the build-up.
