Frank Lampard insists Chelsea did not drop two points in their 2-2 draw at Leicester on Saturday – despite missing a host of chances.
Chelsea took the lead through Antonio Rudiger when he fiercely met Mason Mount’s corner just a minute into the second-half.
Leicester replied through Harvey Barnes, before Ben Chilwell gave the hosts a 64th-minute lead.
Rudiger completed his brace just seven minutes later, though, to earn his side a point.
Leicester could have won it late on, but Jonny Evans and Barnes wasted golden chances, but Chelsea were wasteful themselves early on.
Lampard told talkSPORT: “It’s not two points lost, they can rely on the Harvey Barnes chance when it was 2-2.
“I can talk about the chances we had in the first-half. It was a pretty fair result.
“Two points lost was Arsenal. We always want to win, but I’m pretty pleased. It was a tough match here.”
Kepa Arrizabalaga was a surprise omission from the starting XI as he was dropped to the bench in place of Willy Caballero.
The Spain goalkeeper has come under fire from a section of Chelsea fans since failing to keep out Isaac Hayden’s 94th-minute winner at Newcastle last month.
When asked about his decision to drop the Spaniard, Lampard said: “A change. I have to make changes through the team.

“With Kepa, I was very honest with him and straight up as I try to be with all the players, he’s very honest with himself.
“There have been some goals that maybe he could have done better on and it was just a decision.
“When Willy trains as he does every day, a great professional, played against Hull [in the FA Cup], it was just a change.”
