Bruno Fernandes makes his Manchester United debut today having been named in the starting XI for the Premier League clash vs Wolves.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has decided to throw January signing Fernandes right into the action despite the midfielder only arriving at Old Trafford on Thursday.
He trained with his new team-mates on Friday and the United supporters are being treated to their first look at the 25-year-old against Nuno’s side.
Fernandes’ fellow January signing Odion Ighalo does not feature, however, as he was not signed before midday on Friday so missed the deadline to be registered in time for this weekend’s Premier League action.
The Portugal ace was among four changes made by Solskjaer to the line-up which started in the midweek Carabao Cup defeat of Manchester City.
Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata and Daniel James were the others that came in, while Willy Boly and Diogo Jota were included in the Wolves line-up
Nuno has also decided to name a January signing in his matchday squad, with Daniel Podence – who completed his move from Olympiacos on the same day Fernandes joined United – included among the Wolves substitutes.
