Erling Haaland’s brace, Cristiano Ronaldo’s scoring run, Jose Mourinho’s emotions, Novak Djokovic’s Austral

It was another eventful weekend in the world of sport.

Novak Djokovic won his 17th Grand Slam, while Tottenham inflicted a sixth defeat of the season on Pep Guardiola’s Man City.

Below, talkSPORT.com lists eight highlights…

Erling Haaland is in unstoppable form

The 19-year-old has netted seven goals in just THREE games since joining Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg last month.

In his first start for the Bundesliga giants, he scored a brace with goals on either side of half-time in a 5-0 win over Union Berlin.

With Dortmund just three points away from league leaders Bayern Munich, they will fancy their chances against anyone with Haaland bang in form.

Cristiano Ronaldo scores for the ninth consecutive league game

Despite being 34 years old, Ronaldo continues to terrify defenders.

He converted two penalties in Juventus’ 3-0 win over Fiorentina to take his Serie A goal tally to 19 for the season as he scored for the ninth consecutive league game.

Only Ciro Immobile (25) has scored more league goals than Ronaldo this term.

A dislocated shoulder did not get the better of Adama Traore

Traore is a beast.

He has been one of Wolves’ most consistent performers with five goals and seven assists this season.

And the Spaniard dislocated his shoulder in the first-half of Wolves’ goalless draw at Manchester United.

If you thought that would end his evening, you were very wrong.

Traore played on until the 76th minute when he was withdrawn due to a leg injury.

However, Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo revealed the injury is ‘nothing serious’.

He said: “I know he’s in a lot of pain. He dislocated his shoulder and Matt [Perry], the doctor, managed to put it back again.

“He had another kick in the end, so he’s on ice now. But I think it’s nothing serious.”

Jose Mourinho’s hilarious emotions on the touchline

Raheem Sterling, who was on a yellow card for a horror challenge on Dele Alli, appeared to dive in the box just seconds after Hugo Lloris saved an Ilkay Gundogan.

After VAR agreed with referee Mike Dean’s decision not to award another spot-kick, Sterling escaped a second caution for simulation.

And Mourinho went absolutely mental on the touchline when he discovered the England forward was already on a yellow card and had not been sent off.

He dramatically left his seat and raced over to the fourth official to protest and waved an imaginary yellow card.

It was classic Mourinho.

Said Benrahma’s tribute

Benrahma paid an emotional tribute to his late father during Brentford’s 5-1 win at Hull.

The winger netted a hat-trick as Thomas Frank’s side enhanced their promotion credentials.

Benrahma opened the scoring with a fine 20-yard strike and took off his shirt to reveal a message in French which read ‘I love you dad’.

It was a sweet moment, which was slightly marred by the inevitable yellow card that followed.

Steven Bergwijn’s dream debut

Bergwijn was a surprise inclusion in Tottenham’s starting line-up against Man City given he had only completed a £25million move from PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday.

And he repaid Mourinho’s faith in him by giving Spurs a 63rd-minute lead with an excellent goal.

Bergwijn was forced off with what appeared to be cramp in the 70th minute, but it was still a dream debut for the winger.

Novak Djokovic’s Australian Open triumph

Djokovic fought back from two sets down to beat Dominic Thiem in the Australian Open final.

The Serb claimed a 6-4 4-6 2-6 6-3 6-4 victory in a dramatic contest.

With 17 Grand Slam titles to his name, Djokovic is only three short of record holder Roger Federer.

Dillon Phillips’ one-handed save

Despite keeping just one clean sheet since October, Phillips has been a standout performer for Charlton this season.

And the goalkeeper reminded everyone of his talent in a crucial relegation six-pointer clash with Barnsley when he pulled off an outstanding one-handed save.

With Charlton leading 1-0 thanks to Lyle Taylor’s opener, a Mads Andersen header looked set to draw Barnsley level.

However, Phillips’ strong right hand maintained Charlton’s advantage as Aapo Halme hit the post on the rebound.

The Addicks went on to beat Barnsley 2-1 to secure a first win since Boxing Day.
