Sport fans are facing an ominously empty weekend following a whirlwind 48 hours which saw most events worldwide cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Premier League, English Football League, FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Championship have all called a halt to the action until the start of April at least.
And there’s little else happening outside of football. The Six Nations clash between Wales and Scotland, the Players Championship, and the F1 Australian Grand Prix – all of which were scheduled for this weekend – have been called off.
It’s feared things might be this way for quite some time, and sport fans have been left questioning what on earth to do with their lives.
But do not despair, there is still some sport to be had this weekend.
First of all, the National League has confirmed that matches will go ahead as planned, although six fixtures have still been postponed.

Nonetheless, you’ll be able to watch Halifax Town vs Ebbsfleet United today at 17:20 on BT Sport unless anything changes.
That’s pretty much it for the UK, but elsewhere in world football, there are fixtures to be found.
Most domestic football in South America continues to go ahead as planned, including Copa de la Superliga matches in Argentina, with both Boca Juniors and River Plate in action on Saturday.
River face Atletico Tucuman at home at 20:45, while Boca travel to Godboy Cruz at 23:00.
In Brazil, giants Flamengo take on Portuguesa RJ in the Taca Rio at 21:00 tonight.
There is also some top-flight football happening in Europe. Russian Premier League leaders Zenit Saint Petersburg host FC Ural today at 13:30.
And if any Arsenal fans are feeling really desperate, Russia’s Arsenal Tula will play Rubin Kazan at 16:00.
On Sunday, one of the biggest derbies in Europe is set to go ahead: Galatasaray vs Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig at 16:00.
The match will, however, be taking place behind closed doors, although you can expect plenty of fired-up fans outside the ground for that one.
Here’s one for the purists: Andre-Pierre Gignac’s Tigres will be in action against Juarez in the Mexican Liga MX.
The 34-year-old Frenchman is always good value for a screamer.
And finally, if there are any despairing Chelsea fans out there, we’ve got half a solution: Berekum Chelsea vs WAFA in the Ghanaian Premier League.
