Liverpool announced earlier this year they had signed a new multi-year kit deal with Nike.

The club won their High Court battle with New Balance over ending their agreement and now a contract has been agreed with one of the biggest sportswear brands in the world.

The European champions were reportedly offered a £30million-a-year five-year deal to switch toi Nike, which includes a commitment to sell licensed products in ‘not less than 6,000 stores worldwide, 500 of which shall be Nike-owned’.

“Our iconic kit is a key part of our history and identity,” said Billy Hogan, Liverpool’s managing director and chief commercial officer.

“We welcome Nike into the LFC family as our new official kit supplier and expect them to be an incredible partner for the club, both at home and globally as we continue to expand our fanbase.

Is Fernando Torres a Premier League legend? Adrian Durham and Darren Gough think so!

“As a brand, Nike reflects our ambitions for growth, and we look forward to working with them to bring fans new and exciting products.

“We’d like to thank New Balance for their support over the last few years and wish them well for the future.”

New Balance’s Liverpool kits were firm favourites with fans, perfectly blending retro with modern and created the shirts the club has made history in.

But how could the Premier League leaders look next season?

talkSPORT.com has browsed some concept kit designs online to give Liverpool fans a taster of how they could look in the 2020/21 campaign…

This design, by Classic Football Shirts, has the traditional Nike template but also has a retro feel to it.

The white trim on the collar and sleeves is a smart feature of the shirt, while there is also a darker shade of red  patterned across the chest which gives it a stylish feel.

The number on the back is a bit of a throwback to the olden days. It is a thick and bold font and features the iconic Nike swoosh at the top.

Would you be happy with this Liverpool fans?

Another design produced by Classic Football Kits is a yellow away kit.

Liverpool have had many yellow kits in the past but this design is different due to the subtle thin red vertical stripes on the chest and sleeves.

Just like the home design, there is a red trim on the sleeves and collar which is a nice touch addition to the overall design.

Trendy to say the least.

The third kit comes in a navy green but a particular detail makes the shirt stand out.

Like the home and away strip, there is white trim on the sleeves and collar which smarten the shirt up.

But the main pattern is the white subtle brush strokes on the shirt which contrasts nicely to the dark green shade.

Back in October, one Liverpool fan posted another concept of how the kits could look following the news with a classy red white and gold home strip.

The away creation is a mint green and black combination, while the third is black with red collars and cuffs, and some markings on the shirt too.

Meanwhile, over the last few months other concept kit creators have had a go at making their own Nike-style Liverpool kits and you can see some of the best below.
