Ryan Fraser has played his final game for Bournemouth, manager Eddie Howe has revealed.
Fraser, 26, recently turned down a short-term contract extension to see out the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
Despite being available for the club’s next two games against Crystal Palace and Wolves, Howe has decided he will NOT call on Fraser’s services.
Fraser, who joined the Premier League from Aberdeen in 2013, has been pictured training with Eddie Howe’s men since the start of Project Restart, will now leave the club on a free transfer after June 30.
Discussing his decision, Howe said: “I’ve enjoyed working with Ryan. When you look at his career it’s been one of progression and improvement.
“He didn’t deserve this ending. But circumstances have arose that made it happen. I’m sad for him. Now for it end the way it has, is uncomfortable for me.”

The Cherries confirmed on Wednesday that Simon Francis, Andrew Surman, Artur Boruc and Charlie Daniels had all agreed to stay for their final nine matches of the campaign.
But Fraser’s seven-year stint at Bournemouth will now end as the club battles to avoid relegation.
Fraser scored 24 goals and recorded 33 assists in 208 appearances for the Cherries.
Bournemouth, who sit inside the relegation zone on goal difference, entertain Crystal Palace at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
