A Twitter user convinced the former heavyweight champ he had an uncle who was his biggest fan, only for the picture of the ‘fan’ to be of Raoul Moat
Boxing legend George Foreman vowed to get revenge on any Twitter troll who tricks him again.
This comes after Foreman, 70, shared a picture of gunman Raoul Moat after being duped into thinking he was a massive supporter of his.
The troll, @BradleyHilditch tweeted the image and wrote: “@GeorgeForeman hi George. My uncle was a huge fan of yours, you was his favourite heavyweight of all time.
“Sadly he lost his life long battle with nits about 8 and a half weeks ago. It would mean the world if you would notice this tweet.”
American Foreman was unaware of who Moat was and retweeted the post.
Moat was the subject of a manhunt in 2010 after shooting three people in the space of two days following his release from prison.

Touched by the story of the ‘fan’, Foreman added: “Means the world to me to read this tweet! Thank you for sharing with me. Must have been some man.”
However, genuine fans of Foreman’s got in touch to fill him in on who Moat was and the tweet was subsequently deleted.
The former heavyweight champion vowed to be more careful in the future, tweeting: “Thanks for having my BACK! These guys get me every time. Gotta keep up with The News.
“I gett’m next time. Crazy guys.”
Foreman was not the only celebrity to be duped by the troll on Friday.
The user replied to a Liam Gallagher tweet with a picture of Gary Lineker’s brother Wayne.
This time the troll wrote: “Liam, my uncle was one of your biggest fans. Went to all of your gigs and it would mean the world to him if you noticed this tweet. Died 18 weeks ago today.
Gallagher replied: “RIP my man.”
