ATLANTA — An Atlanta Braves star was arrested Saturday on aggravated assault and battery charges, Channel 2 Action News has confirmed.
Marcell Ozuna was booked into the Fulton County jail on May 29.
The Braves outfielder was charged with aggravated assault, strangulation and battery as well as family violence, according to the Fulton County jail website.
It is not clear at this time what lead to the arrest.
