Liverpool will reportedly replace the departing Simon Mignolet with former West Ham goalkeeper Adrian.
Mignolet has left the Reds to join Club Brugge in a £6.4million deal with the 31-year-old signing a five-year contract.
Ian Holloway has his say on fans fighting on the London Underground
The goalkeeper made just two appearances for Liverpool last season, both in cup competitions.
The Belgium international was relegated to a back-up role at Anfield after the club splashed out £66.8million on new No.1 Alisson last summer.
Alisson went on to win the Premier League Golden Glove in his debut campaign on Merseyside and helped the Reds lift the European Cup.

Mignolet joined the Reds in 2013 in a £9million deal from Sunderland and quickly established himself as first choice.
He went on to make 204 appearances for the club before first losing his place to Loris Karius and then Alisson.
With Mignolet leaving and Karius halfway through a two-year loan spell with Besiktas, this has left Liverpool needing a backup for their number one goalkeeper.
Jurgen Klopp has identified 32-year-old Adrian as an ideal replacement, with BBC Sport claiming the former West Ham glovesman will sign over the coming days.
The Spaniard is currently without a club after his contract expired with the Hammers at the end of June.
Adrian played 150 games for West Ham over six seasons but lost his place in the side to Lukasz Fabianski last term.
