Perhaps you have noticed that
the NHL has been a bit busy lately between buyouts, contract extensions, trades and players waiving no-movement clauses.
Blame the Seattle Kraken. Front offices throughout the league are active because of the July 21 chaos event that is the expansion draft. Agents, executives and players are all preparing for an event that will significantly alter the NHL landscape. More moves are expected to occur leading up to Saturday when teams must submit their protected lists, which will be made public Sunday.
Then comes the waiting game to see which players will be making the trek to the Pacific Northwest.
