Losing Randy Ramsey to a significant ankle injury robbed the Packers of a core special teams player and arguably the favorite at outside linebacker behind the big three. Between Garvin, Galeai, Scott and Rivers, one player must emerge as a player who can provide something on defense while also playing a key role on several special teams groups. Kamal Martin, who has a knee injury, might also factor in here once he’s healthy. The Packers have been crosstraining him on the edge.
