There’s a lot to love about Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields. His natural arm talent, accuracy, toughness, leadership, you name it. But it’s also his mobility that has already made him a threat to defenses.

In the Bears’ 20-13 win over the Dolphins, Fields had five rushes for 33 yards and a touchdown. But there was one run in particular where Fields got to show off that 4.4 speed.

According to Next Gen Stats, Fields clocked in at 20.39 MPH on his 21-yard run in the third quarter against Miami. That ranked as the 12th-fastest speed by a quarterback going back to the start of last season.

While Fields can make plenty happen with his legs, his immediate instinct isn’t to simply take off and run. He showed that against the Dolphins, where, on 3rd-and-9, he baited the defense into thinking he was going to take off and run, only to find an open Rodney Adams for the first down.

Just more to love about Fields, who will see the field as a starter sooner rather than later. Especially if he continues making plays like that.
