CLEVELAND, Ohio — After years of struggles, the Browns and their fans can legitimately think about getting to the Super Bowl for the first time in team history. They have one of the best rosters in football and several young stars at key position.

But what chances do the sportsbooks give the Browns of winning their first NFL title since 1964?

A consensus of different oddsmakers have the Browns at 16-1 odds to win Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles. Those odds are the eighth best in the NFL.

The Chiefs are favored with odds between 9-2 and 5-1, followed by the reigning Super Bowl champion Buccaneers. The Bills and Ravens also have better odds. Buffalo has been getting between 11-1 and 12-1, while many books have Baltimore at 12-1 odds.

When it comes to getting out of the AFC, the Browns are fourth-best at between 15-2 and 8-1. That puts them fourth behind the Chiefs, Bills and Ravens.

The oddsmakers are also offering very close numbers for who wins the AFC North. The Ravens have +115 odds almost by consensus, meaning a $100 bid will net $115. The Browns aren’t too far behind, with the odds ranging from as low as +120 to +165.
