The Ohio State University football team will debut an all-scarlet uniform Oct. 30, when it hosts Penn State University in a key Big Ten Conference East Division encounter at Ohio Stadium. Game time and television network carrier are still to be determined with a decision set for either Oct. 18 or, at latest, Oct. 25.
All-scarlet means a color rush of all-scarlet. Jersey, pants, socks, base layers, gloves and spikes will be scarlet with the traditional striping pattern on the shoulders and down the side of the legs. The traditional metallic extreme silver helmet will also be worn.
