Jose Mourinho very much enjoyed Arsenal 2-2 Tottenham on Sunday, but only because he didn’t have to endure it from the touchline.
Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane had Spurs 2-0 up, but their hosts came from behind thanks to Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
In the final stages of the error-filled clash, both teams went toe-to-toe in a dramatic end-to-end conclusion, though neither could find a winner.
Giving his immediate reaction at the final whistle, Mourinho told Sky the game was: “Funny, emotional, good to watch.
“There were some principals of play that were incredible to watch at this level
“But what matters is the millions watching enjoyed. I didn’t want the game to finish.”
When asked how he would have reacted to the conclusion if he was in charge of either side, the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager replied: “Heart attack.
“It was like 80 meters between the defensive line of Arsenal and defensive line of Spurs.
“The game was completely out of control.
“If one of the teams had more brains and tactical control, they would win it.”
