Another north London derby means another goal for Tottenham hotshot Harry Kane of course.
The striker, 26, put Spurs 2-0 up at the Emirates Stadium from the penalty spot after Granit Xhaka fouled Heung-min Son.
But Kane’s goal saw the England international achieve a brilliant record in north London derbies.
This is Kane’s tenth goal in north London derbies, which puts him level with former Spurs and Gunners frontman Emmanuel Adebayor and ex-Spurs star Bobby Smith.
Kane just needs one more goal to be the highest scorer in north London derbies ever and almost got it in the second-half but his swerving effort cannoned off the post.
However, Kane’s goal was not enough to give Spurs the win over their bitter rivals as the enthralling contest finished 2-2.
Christian Eriksen gave Mauricio Pochettino’s men the lead after Bernd Leno couldn’t keep hold of Erik Lamela’s weak right-footed effort.
Kane doubled their lead five minutes before the break but Alexandre Lacazette’s emphatic finish just before half-time reduced Spurs’ lead.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang levelled the scores on 71 minutes.
Can Kane break the record when Spurs face Arsenal in April?
