STARTING RECEIVER OUT

Starting receiver Kobe Hudson, who leads Auburn in catches and receiving yards, did not make the trip with the Tigers to Columbia. Auburn says Ja’Varrius Johnson will start in his place. — Nathan King

Kilian Zierer is expected to start at left tackle today over Austin Troxell. We’re told he impressed the coaching staff last week. Additionally, starting left guard Brandon Council is not expected to play, and Tashawn Manning is taking first-team reps in warmups — Jason Caldwell

Sophomore edge rusher Romello Height is back with the team today after missing the last three games. His depth is welcome for an Auburn front that will be without T.D. Moultry for the first half after his targeting penalty against Mississippi State. — Jason Caldwell
