Nigel Benn has seemingly announced a boxing comeback in a 60-second social media video posted on Friday.
The 55-year-old former two-weight world champion is a British sporting legend, most famous for his iconic rivalry with Chris Eubank in the 1990s.
Benn retired from boxing in 1996, but has repeatedly stated in the past couple of years that he has been planning a return to gain ‘closure’.
Now, he’s uploaded the above video to his social media pages with the caption, “He’s back, I wonder who he will face?
“Joe Calzaghe? Roy Jones Jr? Bernard Hopkins? Chris Eubank? Steve Collins? Carl Froch? Or is it someone else?”
In the video, Benn can be seen training and states: “20 years, I’m back, I’m ready, one more time.
“I feel good, see you soon.”
