A slick Brentford side scored three first-half goals against QPR on their way to victory in the final derby at Griffin Park.
The Bees are moving to a new stadium later this year and they signed off the rivalry at their current home with a 3-1 win in the Championship‘s early Saturday kick-off
Brentford made a fast start to the game with three goals in the first 33 minutes.
Said Benrahma scored the first after 19 minutes when the home side perfectly executed a training ground routine.
Mathias Jensen cut the ball back from a free-kick on the right and Benrahma guided the ball into the bottom left-hand corner.
Four minutes later, Bryan Mbeumo doubled their lead with a fine finish.
A poor clearance from QPR goalkeeper Joe Lumley saw the ball quickly returned to their box by Christian Norgaard.
The ball fell to Mbeumo who stabbed home to make it 2-0.
Brentford were continuing to carve open the visitors and looked like scoring every time they went forward.
A third was quickly added by Ollie Watkins from another set piece.
The ball was floated in to the right-hand side of the area and Ethan Pinnock headed back across goal to allow Watkins to get the final touch from close range for his 18th goal of the season.
Pontus Jansson was lucky to get away with a cynical challenge on QPR striker Nahki Wells just before half-time.
The Bees skipper stuck out a leg to stop Wells running on the end of a through ball to deny a good chance on goal.
The referee did not even give a free-kick much to the frustration of the striker.
After the break, QPR gave themselves a fighting chance with a goal back in the 62nd minute.
Bright Osayi-Samuel squared the ball for Wells for the forward to tap in from close range and make it 3-1.
That gave the visitors plenty of confidence and looked like getting another to put their rivals under some real pressure.
Brentford goalkeeper David Raya made an excellent save from close range to deny Ebere Eze with just over ten minutes to go.
Eze helped a cross on its way from six yards out and Raya had to make a reaction save to keep the score at 3-1.
