Despite England’s tour of South Africa appearing to go from bad to worse, the tourists fought back on day two in Cape Town to finish on top in the second Test.
Joe Root’s men reduced their hosts to 215-8 at the close of play despite appearing to be on the back foot having scored a measly 269 in their first innings.
However, some extraordinary fielding from Ben Stokes helped them seize control.
