Manchester United were given a favourable Europa League quarter-final in Friday’s draw, while Wolves and Rangers face serious challenges should they progress from the last-16.
The draw for the Europa League quarter-finals and semi-finals took place in Switzerland on Friday, with three British clubs still in it ahead of a mini-knockout tournament in Germany next month.
Man United are all-but through to the quarter-finals following a 5-0 victory over LASK in the first leg of their last-16 tie, and the Red Devils will face Istanbul Basaksehir or FC Copenhagen in the next round, unless LASK pull off a miracle in the second leg at Old Trafford.
Wolves have a slim advantage over Olympiakos having snatched an away goal in the first-leg of their last-16 clash, although it hangs in the balance at 1-1 ahead of the return leg at Molineux.
Should the Premier League side progress, they are guaranteed a tricky quarter-final against either Sevilla or Roma.

Rangers have it all to do, trailing 3-1 to Bayer Leverkusen following the first-leg of their last-16 tie at Ibrox, and it won’t get any easier should they progress, with Inter Milan or Getafe lying in wait.
The semi-finals were also drawn, with Manchester United and Wolves set to meet each other if they make it that far.
The remaining last-16 second legs will be played out on August 5 and 6 as normal, except for Inter vs Getafe and Sevilla vs Roma, which will be single-leg ties in Germany.
Then all remaining teams will head to Germany ahead of the mini knockout tournament starting on August 10.
This season’s Europa League final will be held on August 21 at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne.
