Jarrod Bowen scored twice in four minutes as Hull came from two goals behind to draw 2-2 with 10-man Middlesbrough on Sunday.
Bowen now has 11 goals to his names for the Tigers this season after his impressive late intervention, as the pressure intensifies on Boro boss Jonathan Woodgate after a poor start to the season.
Marcus Tavernier gave the hosts the lead after just 7 minutes, before Ashley Fletcher doubled Boro’s advantage after 26 minutes.
Woodgate’s men were dealt a blow before the interval as Marvin Johnson was shown a straight red for a dangerous challenge on Eric Lichaj.
And Grant McCann’s men took full advantage of the numerical advantage, as Bowen first fired home with an impressive left-footed drive before prodding the ball home from close range.
Boro, who are now without a win in 10 games, moved out of the Championship relegation zone as a result of the draw, while Hull moved up to 14th in the standings.
